Cook to D-League?

Looks like Pat Riley is considering demoting Daequan Cook to the Iowa Energy of the D-League. Riley is says time in the D-League could help give Cook boost. When Cook made his debut he played well (first dunk in Boston, dunked Posey). Several games later, he made a 3-pointer that sent the game to overtime. Heat fans were excited & energized about Cook. But he quickly became a streaker shooter, missing a lot of shots and Riley benched him. Now, Pat Riley is planning on sending Cook to the D-League for a month in hopes to energize him and maybe come back to play the remaining of the season.

  1. I am really convicted that Cook has a great potential, however he needs to recover all his confidence. That's why maybe a little way in the D-league could him to recover his own level.

I wish to him: good luck and have a quick come back to NBA

  2. Cook definitely has huge potentials. I was very excited the first few games when he dunked on Posey, dropping 3's, and making the buzzer beater to tie the game and sent it to overtime.

If he can go to the D-League and develop some more confident, he can scary because he's extremely athletic. I can't wait to see him come back and play with Wade & Marion!
